We’re professionally qualified structural engineers based in Colchester, working with homeowners, architects and developers across Essex, Suffolk and London. Structural Design & Analysis​

Concept, scheme and detailed design for new-build and refurbishment projects, including portal frames, multi-storey structures and bespoke elements. We optimise for safety, buildability and economy to Eurocodes and British Standards, issuing coordinated drawings and calculations for smooth delivery on site.

Domestic Projects​

Loft conversions, extensions, alterations and load-bearing wall removals. We assess existing structures, size beams and lintels, provide practical detailing and liaise with your architect and builder. Documentation is prepared for Building Control so your project proceeds efficiently and safely.

Foundations & Retaining Walls​​

Design of strip, trench-fill, raft and piled foundations together with retaining walls. We consider soil conditions, adjacent trees and structures, groundwater and buildability to develop robust, efficient substructure solutions, supported by clear sections and details suited to your contractor’s methodology.

Inspections & Reports​

Site visits and structural inspections to diagnose cracking, movement and other defects. We provide concise engineer’s reports with actionable recommendations, helping owners, buyers and contractors make informed decisions and plan remedial works with clarity and confidence.

Ground Investigations​​

Ground investigations are arranged through trusted specialist geotechnical contractors. We coordinate and oversee the process to ensure the most appropriate tests are carried out for each site, review the results in detail, and design the substructure to suit the ground conditions.

Expert Witness​​

Independent expert witness services for building defects, workmanship disputes and professional negligence claims. We examine evidence, carry out site inspections where required and produce clear, impartial reports suitable for pre-action correspondence, mediation or court proceedings.
